New Roads Auto Loans

New Roads is the direct-to-consumer division of CPS, a specialty finance company that has been providing auto loans to people with credit problems through car dealers nation-wide for over 16 years. CPS is a nationwide company that has purchased over $8 billion in auto loans from dealers since 1991. Currently, CPS works with over 7,000 dealers nation-wide and provides its dealer base with seven distinct finance products to help customers with bad credit. The company’s stock is traded on the NASDAQ National Market System under the symbol “CPSS.”

CPS approached Rhythm Interactive with a specific business goal of developing a direct-to-consumer revenue stream by leveraging the Internet as the primary medium. To accomplish this, we used our “strategy first” approach to develop a standalone brand known as, “New Roads Auto Loans.” This brand became the new business entity that would soon engage prospects through a conversion based website.

The website we designed and developed is a warm, friendly, positive, “get you back on the road” experience, which offers prospects reassurance that their need for an auto loan is just an application screen away. The New Roads website is a reflection of user centered design at it’s best, achieved with a thorough understanding of user’s needs, emotions and wants. From the copy, to the colors, to ease of use, the site communicates a smooth reassuring confidence.

The outcome has been astonishing, as 45% of visitors to the site, complete the online application. Within 10 seconds, prospects are approved or presented with an option for assistance to work directly with an agent to get an approval. CPS is extremely pleased as the New Roads business model not only met their goal, but it has exceeded their expectations.
