Website Development

(by Peter Bohenek, President)

Rhythm Interactive has been in the interactive business for more than 13 years now.  It is safe to say that we know interactive marketing and that the one most important facet is the company website. The reason is simple: online marketing, branding, general customer communication, tracking mechanisms, and understanding results are all supported by and achieved through a well-devised web presence.

To develop an effective website that supports a company’s online marketing initiatives, we must first work with the client before we work on the website. Our goal in engaging with any client is to create a formal partnership where we work closely with them every step of the way. This level of interaction is the gateway for success as it enables Rhythm to clearly understand the client’s business goals and objectives such that the true purpose of the intended website can be defined.

Getting this basic but critical understanding is the precursor to the RI-5 framework which is Rhythm’s process used to develop a client’s website.

The RI-5 process involves the following five (5) key steps:  Insight, Innovate, Immerse, Implement and Impact.  The process begins with in-depth discovery and planning. The next step is the development of a written strategic plan that is used to identify client goals and objectives and serve as a road map to develop each project component.

Once the specific project goals and objectives are clearly identified and the corresponding strategic direction is completed, the development process begins. This involves a series of steps that includes a detailed site map, a content outline, a complete set of high fidelity wireframes, a functioning prototype and a beta version that is presented to the client for final review.  The final step is testing and then, the launch of the completed website.

The conclusion is a purpose driven website that performs to specifications that were formulated in a collaborative effort with the client.

In a nutshell, we work to design and develop a website such that it becomes the foundation of an online marketing system. The system will work to achieve the best possible results, which in our world is a conversion.
