Incredible!  2008 gone - welcome 2009.  Time is our most valuable resource. Luckily we don’t have to import it from the Middle East or somewhere else.  We all have time and have the same amount to work with each and every day.  I’m happy to say Rhythm Interactive spent a great deal of time busting out top quality work for clients during 2008.  Before we fully step forward into 2009, we’d like to take a few minutes to revisit a handful of clients that made 2008 an amazingly wonderful year!!

Client of the Month - February 2008

Consumer Portfolio Services, Inc., (”CPS”) is a specialty finance company that provides indirect automobile financing to individual borrowers with past credit problems, low incomes, or limited credit histories. CPS was founded in 1991, and the company’s common stock is traded on the NASDAQ National Market System under the symbol “CPSS.”

CPS came to Rhythm Interactive in 2007 with a desire to begin a new facet of their business that would involve a direct lending approach to car loan financing. Their goal was to develop a strategically planned and designed website that would engage viewers, to the extent they would feel comfortable completing an online application, through which they would immediately receive their loan qualifying status.

Client of the Month - March 2008

Noritz offers the highest capacity tankless gas water heaters on the market. Their tankless gas water heaters are designed and manufactured using advanced technology that delivers 83-93% efficiency in their products. Noritz tankless gas water heaters provide an endless supply of hot water on demand, only heating the water that is needed. This performance cuts water heating costs up to 50%.

Noritz came to Rhythm Interactive in late 2007 for search engine optimization services in conjunction with their corporate website: Noritz.com. After several meetings to gain a firm understanding of Noritz’s business goals, target markets and business sales structure, we went to work.

The results over a 6-month period have been outstanding, as Noritz ranks very well for the top targeted keywords that are the primary drivers of qualified traffic. They have seen traffic and lead generation increase over 20% since we began working on the account.

Triax Media Group is a marketing company specializing in a variety of interactive solutions for large enterprises. For over five years, Triax Media Group and Rhythm Interactive have enjoyed a strategic alliance. This relationship has enabled Triax to deliver a variety of solutions to some of the largest enterprises in the country. Clients include US Bank, Abbott Laboratories, Shire Pharmaceuticals, Anthem Blue Shield Blue Cross and other Fortune 500 clients.

A number of projects from Triax are always in our production schedule. The projects vary from multimedia CD-ROMs incorporating our proprietary Point-Click Technology™ to custom online applications, email marketing and more. The work is constant and highly appreciated. One of the greatest testimonials we can get from a client is repeat business, and with Triax, there is plenty of it!

Client of the Month - May 2008

Printronix is the leader in enterprise printing solutions for the industrial marketplace and distribution supply chain, providing network integrated multi-technology printers to businesses worldwide.

Founded in 1974, Printronix is the acknowledged foremost supplier of line matrix printers and an innovator in continuous form laser printers and thermal bar code label printers. Printronix also has become an established leader in pioneering technologies, including radio frequency identification (RFID) printing, bar code compliance and networked printer management.

Printronix has been a long-standing client of ours, and over the years we have provided them with many different support services, ranging from email to SEO and PPC consulting to a complete website redesign.

Client of the Month - June 2008

The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation is a federally recognized Indian tribe located in Kansas. Originally, they inhabited the Great Lakes region of America and through forced migration, settled in their present day location west of Kansas City. The nation is a vibrant community that retains its cultural heritage and works towards the betterment of its members in a modern age.

The government of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation approached Rhythm Interactive to resolve issues it had faced with its web properties and previous developer. They maintained two separate websites; however, problems existed with keeping both sites current, as well as maintaining a consistent identity. 

Our first duty was to consolidate the large amount of content from both websites into a single website, www.pbpindiantribe.com. A new modern visual design was then applied, and the site was built out in accordance with all design requirements.

The response from the tribal government and their community has been nothing but positive. They love the new site. 

Client of the Month - July 2008

For over 20 years, ThermoGenesis has been a world leader in the processing, preparation, and preservation of cord blood and stem cells. This technology, developed by ThermoGenesis, has led to industry-leading technological platforms, efficient processes, and unparalleled dependability. Additionally, they have consistently provided meaningful insights into the unique challenges — and promises — of this complex.

We were introduced to the ThermoGenesis project through our partner agency KPA Healthcare Advertising, Inc. KPA contacted Rhythm Interactive in the beginning of February 2008 with a strong need to have a first class website developed for their client, ThermoGenesis. We met with KPA and the ThermoGenesis teams to better understand the specific needs of the project.

After several discussions, we learned that the primary business goal the website needed to satisfy was to effectively communicate press release activities that were increasing in parallel with recent business activities. Secondary goals ranged from investor communication and support to a content management system that would enable members from the ThermoGenesis team to easily update content and post press releases.

To date, the site has done a fantastic job of supporting viewers’ interests in learning more about ThermoGenesis and the processing, preparation, and preservation of cord blood and stem cells. Overall, the project was a success. ThermoGenesis can now easily update the site, enabling them to communicate with all groups of site visitors.

Client of the Month - August 2008

With more than 300 offices in 50 countries, CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) is the global leader in real estate services. Their Construction Services Division supports the commercial real estate leasing and acquisition aspect of CBRE. The division’s primary function is to help large clients manage the process of building out space – making it “occupant ready.”

Construction Services is very serious in their approach to managing projects, as missing deadlines often results in lost revenue for their clients. This is not something they can allow to happen. To help ensure success, they developed specialized software called Project Insight (PI). CBRE felt Project Insight was a true differentiator and wanted to develop a way to showcase the software to prospective clients. CBRE wanted a presentation tool that would deliver impact; one that would hold viewer attention, speak to the depth of CBRE’s capabilities and emphasize key user roles. 

After discussing the business needs for the tool, we all agreed a solid video presentation would be developed highlighting four key user roles. Each role would be viewer-activated and tell the story of a user’s specific interaction with PI and how they benefited from that interaction. The project was performed on a tight timeline and ultimately completed over an eight-week period just in time for CBRE to showcase the new tool at a Construction Services sales kick off meeting.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, and the product is now actively being used to sell CBRE’s superior ability to manage client construction projects.

Client of the Month - September 2008

L.A. Lifestyle (LALS) is a premium manufacturer and distributor of their own brand of nutritional products. They offer some of the highest-quality wellness products on the market and sell them exclusively online. For individuals that live an active lifestyle, LALS sells a full range of support products that provide the human body with all it needs to reach and maintain optimum levels of performance. What makes L.A. Lifestyle different from the pack of other vitamin companies is that they manufacture their own products. This provides them with the means to select the finest ingredients and ensure optimum product processing.

L.A. Lifestyle came to Rhythm Interactive in mid 2007 with a need to develop their brand and their online presence. 

Services included:

  • The development and design of the L.A. Lifestyle brand: logo, graphic standard guide, product label designs and all key messaging and primary talking points.
  • A robust ecommerce website.
  • An email program aimed at supporting client retention and acquisition.
  • The deployment of an affiliate based marketing program that included banner development and campaign management.
  •   The implementation and ongoing maintenance of a blog program.
  •   The implementation and ongoing maintenance of a search optimization program.
  •   The development and management of a Pay-Per-Click marketing system.

Overall, L.A. Lifestyle leveraged Rhythm Interactive to bring their line of nutritional products to the Internet and market those products to their target audience. The mission was accomplished!

Client of the Month - October 2008

Orange County’s Credit Union offers the access, security, and stability of any high-profile bank, with access to over 25,000 CO-OP Network ATMs, as well as investment options, auto loans, and mortgages. But, unlike your typical bank, they offer lower loan rates and fewer fees, based on the strength of over $800 million in assets. And unlike today’s banks, they are a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. Which means all revenues are shared among its 82,000 members.

For over three years, Orange County’s Credit Union has used our RhythmMail platform for email marketing. A wide variety of communications is sent using RhythmMail, ranging from eStatement notices to special events and promotions. Every month, the client sends out a significant amount of email on their own, thanks to the flexibility of the RhythmMail application.

Client of the Month - November 2008

We are proud to have the State of Connecticut as a client. We have enjoyed this working relationship for over five years and are looking forward to many more. In working with the state of CT, we specifically support the Tourism Department.

Our efforts include the development and ongoing management of  www.ctvisit.com, the primary website for the Tourism Department. The site is rich with information about numerous vacation destinations within the state. Its function is to promote these destinations to out-of-state viewers and ultimately influence their decision to visit Connecticut.

We also execute and manage the biannual email marketing sweepstakes campaign that takes place in the summer and the fall of each year. The sweepstakes system involves email and the use of two microsites. Email (sent through our RhythmMail platform) is the delivery mechanism to engage recipients, and the microsites are where recipients sign up to participate in the sweepstakes. The sweepstakes program has been hugely successful, as millions of new sales tax dollars have been generated from increased tourism since the program began.

Overall, we have supported the Connecticut Tourism Department at a high level and have certainly helped them achieve their business goals.
