TenantConnect

(by Peter Bohenek, President)

TenantConnect is an online system that leverages the combined purchasing power of CB Commercial Richard Ellis and more than 34,000 CBRE tenants — giving tenants direct access to pre-negotiated discounts on the business products and services that they use the most.

The Asset Services Division of CBRE developed the idea for TenantConnect. They immediately recognized the need to bring in an experienced interactive firm that had full service capability. The goal was to create TenantConnect from the ground up. The scope included the following:

Marketing Strategy
Marketing Plan Development
Messaging Development
Value Proposition Formulation

Brand Development
Logo Development
Style Guide Development

Website Development

Concept Development
Content Development
Partner Interface Development
Database Development – Content Management System
Graphic Selection
Flash Programming

Marketing Execution
One Sheet Flyer Design
Rent Statement Enclosure
Email Message Development

Rhythm Interactive was contracted by CBRE to develop their idea into a fully functioning system, which included the marketing of the system to the end users. The project was completed over the course of three months. The website is set to launch in early April. Accompanying the launch of the site will be a full-scale marketing push that will involve print collateral, email marketing and press releases.

The initial beta test that concluded on March 31, 2007 was a complete success, as users of the system responded with positive comments about their experience with the website. Overall, users felt TenantConnect was easy to understand and use, and ultimately it delivered the value it promised.
