Vision Solutions

Vision Solutions, headquartered in Irvine, CA, is a leading high availability solution provider to Global 5000 organizations. Vision came to Rhythm Interactive in late 2005 with a desire to redesign their corporate website in an effort to create a marketing vehicle that would accurately and effectively communicate their service offering. Working closely with Vision’s internal marketing department, Rhythm Interactive went to work to develop a first class web property for Vision.

The first step was to examine the existing website to better understand where and how the website was failing in its ability to provide viewers with proper communication. We also set out to determine what information was working and what information and content would be carried forward and incorporated into the new website. Rhythm also spent a great deal of time reviewing the websites of Vision’s top competitors.

Once we had completed our analysis, we met with Visions’ marketing team to review and discuss our findings. Through the process, several critical decisions were made with regard to content and the navigational system, as well as the primary mission and messaging that would be the focal point in the development of the new website. With clear understanding and agreement between Rhythm and Vision as to the overall purpose in creating the new communication medium, the primary architecture of the site was created.

At the same time Rhythm Interactive was developing the architecture of the new site, Vision’s team began to create new content and develop the high level messaging. This work was performed by Vision’s internal staff with guidance from Rhythm Interactive. Once the architecture and the content were completed, we began to create the website beta version.

The beta version involved the development of the design sequences and the navigational interfaces. Toward the end of the process the content and the messaging were married to the selected design scheme, and the new site was created.

The new site offers viewers clear messaging from the start as to what Vision offers and provides viewers, with several different ways to locate software solutions that fit their needs. From platform to target market category, the site delivers product information in a streamlined format that viewers can easily interact with using the navigational system.

Overall the project was a huge success, as the new website was a vast improvement providing the sales and marketing team with a valuable support vehicle.
