Old Fashioned Natural Products has made fine quality vitamins and nutritional supplements for decades. For some time, they had an idea on the back burner for a line of nutritional products under the brand name L.A. Lifestyle, building on Southern California’s reputation as a health and wellness capital. When they decided to move forward with the idea, they enlisted Rhythm Interactive’s help.
We conducted rapid market and consumer research to understand competitors, existing trends, consumers’ preconceptions, wants and needs and to get an idea of consumer’s willingness to purchase nutrition products via the Internet. After initially vetting the brand concept and determining that it was viable, the team defined the conceptual details for the brand following our proven brand blueprint model. After establishing all of the conceptual components for the brand, we developed a full identity system, product packaging, eCommerce website experience and a brand launch campaign featuring real locals from the L.A. area to tell the story of the brand by relating personal perspectives on what an L.A. Lifestyle means to them, all the while promoting the category by advocating the use of nutritional supplements to augment a healthy diet and exercise.
