Web Application Developer

South Orange County, CA based interactive marketing agency is looking for an exceptionally talented person with 5+ years experience to fill a challenging Web Application Developer position. You’ll be working with our talented team to create user-centered interactive marketing solutions for nationally and internationally recognized brands. Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements analysis and document findings
- Collaborate with designers, developers and strategists to conceptualize solution
- Develop web-based applications
- Develop multimedia solutions using Adobe Flash and Zinc
Required Skills:
- In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Flash and ActionScript 3
- Strong programming skills with PHP, MySQL, .Net (using C#) and MSSQL
- Strong skills with CSS, AJAX, XML, JQuery and XHTML
- Ability to convert graphic assets into Flash applications
- Standards-compliant front-end web coding
- Experience developing reusable code libraries
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills in conveying engineering concepts in a team-based environment
Major Plus:
- Knowledge and experience creating iPhone applications
- Knowledge and experience creating Widgets, Gadgets, and other forms of Rich Internet Applications
- Knowledge of system administration, web-hosting architecture and network technologies
- Experience with Papervision
- Experience with Flash Video Delivery and Integration of Sound, Motion Graphics, Animations and Transition sequences
To qualify for this position, you need to be able to work well from the high-level conceptual stage throughout the project to the final development stage. You need to have thorough knowledge of usability for interactive media, a solid understanding of design for current web and multimedia technologies, and possess expert level skills with cross-platform development. You need to collaborate exceptionally well with Interface Designers, and Interactive Producers to rapidly build conceptual prototypes that lead to finished products. You must be willing to embrace a strong procedural method. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. You need to be organized, dependable and have experience juggling multiple tasks/projects to be successful in this position.
